Lately...

We recently went to Panama City Beach. Matt had to work, and Owen and I got to play. :)

We took Owen to Margaritaville on the first night. I thought he would really enjoy it, but I am not sure that he did. We recently read a book about ships, and it explained that "all ships have a captain". If you have been to the Panama City Margaritaville, it is ship themed. Owen couldn't find the "captain" of the ship, and he was quite concerned. He kept saying "Where IS the captain???" I think you can see the look of concern in all of these pictures. :)

Okay...he is concerned in all the pictures, but this one. :)

Riding the carousel at Pier Park with Daddy...

Carousels are a little scary when Daddy has to ride next to you, rather than on the horse with you. Owen decided to transition to the bench, later in the ride. :)

Trying to roll the big beach ball at Pier Park..

Owen got an "I was a good boy sucker prize". He loved it!

Ready to go eat dinner at Triple J's steakhouse with Daddy's work buddies! I love this picture!

The highlight of our trip, was taking Owen to the "swamp" to see the transmission line Daddy is designing. Owen is actually standing on top of the swamp. These little planks float on top the water. Owen loves Daddy's work buddy, Mr. Paul. (if you can't tell from the pictures!)

A ROLY POLY! One of Owen's favorite creatures...

This was the end of our trip. It sure was fun!

We are gearing up for Owen's second Alabama football game at the Fall House! We go NEXT weekend...

I shared this story on facebook. I hope I never forget it. I love Owen's imagination...

Me: Owen, when we leave Wal-Mart it is going to be time for a nap okay?
Owen: Mommy, I CAN'T take a nap. I am the coach for Alabama. I have to be on TV tomorrow.

*30 minutes later*

Wal-Mart cashier: You sure are cute! What is your name?
Owen: Nick Saban!

Here is little Nick Saban himself. He was too busy thinking about the game and pacing the living room to smile for his Mommy.

Nickelodeon hosted the World Wide Day of Play here in Pensacola. It took place at Maritime Park near the Blue Wahoos stadium.

We saw big kites....

...and had so much fun playing outside. (the point of the day was to get parents and kids away from the TV, playing outside)

A physical therapy dog...

Keep those teeth clean!

They didn't have a left handed club in Owen's size, but he still did pretty well hitting the ball!

Testing out a balance bike. Santa says it is better to skip the tricycles and training wheels, and get one of these. Owen hopes Santa brings him one!

Picking up Bama Girls on his bike...

Until next time....
