Parks...Parks...and more PARKS!

Owen LOVES parks....that's a good thing because Pensacola is FULL of them! We haven't been to the same park twice. We stay at the parks so much I've noticed his legs have a little tan. (through 50 SPF sunscreen)

You might remember these parks from previous posts...

Gull Point Community Center

Solutia/Ascend Park

The toddler park at our church...

and Bayview Park.

We recently visited Cordova Square Park. It has a really neat ship, and a nice walking trail. We didn't stay long because the big kids from the private school came to play. They had LOTS of energy, and we thought they might need the park to themselves.

This is not my child's gun....haha

We weren't too worried about having to leave that park, because Malaga Square Park was right down the street. Owen had a BLAST playing there!

We found the letters of his name...

Walked down stairs like a big boy all by "SELF"....

He climbed and played on EVERYTHING...

I think he would have stayed at Malaga Square forever...

We visited a park at a Lutheran Church near the mall in between rain showers on a stormy day.

Plaza De Luna was a favorite park. It is in the historic part of Pensacola, which I love! Pensacola has to have the cleanest downtown. Owen and I stopped by the food trucks on our way. We shared a Gouda cheese sandwich and french fries. Look at this lunch view!

If the great view wasn't good enough, this park had a SPLASH PAD! My child is IN LOVE with splash pads. :)

How many times will we visit Plaza De Luna this summer? Probably too many to count!

Bryant Park is right by the library! Could that be anymore convenient? Please note Owen's outfit in this picture. I told him what the shirt said, and he INSISTED on wearing it.

Playing the xylophone...

Drums!

We played hopscotch with a stick, because we couldn't find a rock.

TUNNEL!!!

A fun ship...

Owen and I spend most of our days outside. (shouldn't every child?) We are so thankful that Pensacola has an abundance of parks. We plan to visit them all. :) We will keep you updated on our park experiences.
