Fall is in the air!

....even though it doesn't quite feel like it yet in the Panhandle of Florida...

Fall brings spooky Halloween things, that my little Owen isn't so sure about! We are scared of ALL things Halloween.

We've had a few, okay A LOT of sleepless nights due to nightmares. One day poor little Owen was so tired from a sleepless night that he fell asleep standing up!

Owen got his first "bad boo boo" playing on the basketball court early this fall.

We've had some fun Fall Play Dates with the MOMS club.

Owen playing at MOMS Club Little Tots play group.

We had fall snacks at this particular play group. Apples, yogurt with pumpkin granola, and teddy grahams.

We also made fall scented ornaments. They smelled like apples and cinnamon. Owen picked to make his ornament in the shape of a butterfly.

Fall means we are one season closer to meeting baby Abe. We only have two more doctor's appointments before we start going every two weeks! This pregnancy has FLOWN by!

Owen and I always stop by the mall after my appointment. Here he is throwing pennies in the fountain...

...and eating a Great American Cookie...

Fall means FOOTBALL! We recently made a trip to Tuscaloosa to take Owen to Alabama's Homecoming game. Alabama beat Georgia State 45-3.

Long car rides are starting to get harder as I get bigger. ;) We split the ride to Tuscaloosa in half by spending the night in Prattville the night before the game.

Owen took a nap on the way there. The ride to Prattville was the length of his nap time, wish we could have said the same for the ride back from Tuscaloosa. ;)
Sleeping with what he calls a "chocolate bar". (this is a mommy trick-it is really a Lara bar-the only ingredients are dates and peanuts)

We stopped at one of Mommy's favorite restaurants when we got there. Mommy LOVES Jim N' Nick's!

Owen enjoying a cheese biscuit in his shirt Mommy made him... (if only I looked this cute while shoving cheese biscuits in my mouth)

Before, we went to bed we took Owen to the Bass Pro Shop to play.

The next morning we drove to Tuscaloosa.  After many "are we there yets" we finally made it to the game!

Walking with Daddy...

Owen really enjoyed the game. I think he was a little overwhelmed at first, but it didn't take him long to start cheering on the Tide!

He had the shaker thing down to a science. :)

The game was REALLY hot. In fact, when we got to our car the thermostat read 93 degrees. Our seats were right in the sun, and we were worried about our sweet boy getting overheated/dehydrated. Owen didn't complain once. We cut our trip a little short, and left after the first quarter for his well being. It was worth the trip just to make a precious memory with our baby! I had a blast watching Owen's little eyes light up, and I can't wait to take him again. :)

Owen drinking some water in the shade, before we left the stadium...

One last run around the Denny Chimes...

...and he's out!

A couple of comparison pics just for fun! Babies grow all too fast!

Owen's First Game was October 10, 2011, and his second game was October 5, 2013. He had just turned 4 months old for his first game, and just turned 28 months for his second. :)

I still can't believe Owen fell asleep DURING a football game in the stadium at 4 months old!

The fun doesn't stop here! Stay tuned for more fun this season!
