Summer Fun!

Our little family has had SO much fun this summer. :) How can you not have fun during the summer, when you live at the beach?

We've had lots of rain this past month, but we have made the best of it! Owen has such a zeal for life. I've decided he can have fun in any situation. I love this sweet little quality. :)

Here is Owen painting with a Bingo "dotter". He had so much fun!

We started with making our name.

Then Owen created his own little masterpiece. While we both enjoyed making Owen's name, we thought using a Bingo dotter with no directions to follow was a lot more fun!

The rain man rained on our picnic lunch. Little did he know, indoor picnics are just as much fun. ;)

We've made cookies together.

Owen loves to lick the spoon.

We have enjoyed some Blue Wahoos games. Nobody has enjoyed them as much as Owen. He LOVES the Blue Wahoos. He talk and sings about them every day. Owen will watch the entire game start to finish, even with a rain delay.

We finally found a Blue Wahoos shirt to fit Owen. He is sooo proud of his shirt. :)

Owen is very serious during the baseball games. He cheers and watches with such intensity.  He tells the boys to hit and catch the ball on cue. We hope he has the same love for football this season!

Being silly, during the 7th inning stretch. (the only time Owen isn't serious during a game)

Owen and I ventured out the Children's Museum recently. It was the free day, and a little crowded. Mommy was overwhelmed, but Owen had a blast playing with all of the neat exhibits!

Train Room!

Plane Room. I love this picture!!! It is such an "Owen face".

Doing a little fishing in the museum hallway...

Owen making dinner in the "Indian Room"...

Gathering wood for the fire...

Navigating a ship....

Putting the animals in their proper habitat.

Playing on the farm...

Owen loves looking through "scopes".

We also visited the Gulf Breeze Zoo again. We were so happy to add Daddy to our family membership, so that he can partake in the fun!

The best part is getting to feed the animals!

Owen looking at the baby deer.

Meet "Billy" the tortoise, he is two years old, and really small. He is going to be really big when he grows up, but for now he is so small Owen needs his "noculars" to see him.

Otters!

The giraffes and llamas are always hungry!

Owen the Gorilla!

Daddy teaching Owen about black bears.

The little birds must've had too much sugar the day we visited the zoo. ;) They were so hyper! They literally attacked us as we walked through the door. One insisted on eating Matt's shoelaces.

I wish I could have just one day to see the world from his perspective!

Feeding the animals one last time.

This summer has been so much fun! I am a little behind in my blogging, and have lots more to share. This is just the tip of the iceberg, so stay tuned!
