At the zoo, one of Owen's BIGGEST dreams came true. Owen has always wanted to "hold a bird". He tries to catch the seagulls at the beach, and just doesn't understand why they won't let him "hold" them. The Gulf Breeze Zoo has bird seed sticks for the little ones to feed the birds. Owen was sooo happy he got to hold his very first bird. :)

The monkeys put on a show for us! They were swinging all around!
All Aboard the Choo Choo Train! We added the Choo Choo pass to our membership. Now Owen can ride the Choo Choo every time we go to the zoo. He LOVES the train!
We saw so many animals on the train ride. Mommy got a few pictures. Owen was very inquisitive and wanted to know all about the animals. He loves learning about animals, what they eat, how they live, etc. We have started checking out Non-Fiction animal books from the library to encourage his curious little mind. :)
Owen had a great time at the zoo. We were there for about 3 hours, and I don't even think we saw half of it. The petting zoo/feeding the animals is so much fun! I was very impressed with the Gulf Breeze Zoo.We should have a fun adventure next time. (when it cools off)
