Christmas in Dixie....

Christmas with an 18 month old was LOADS of fun! I am finally rested from our holiday outings and ready for a blog update.

We went to Enterprise a couple of weeks before Christmas to celebrate. I am still getting used to not always going to my side of the family for Christmas. It is such a busy, busy time in Enterprise.

Owen LOVES playing in Mimi and Poppy's playroom. I caught him "jamming out" by himself. He is such a good little drummer and guitar player.

Owen surprised his Great-Great Grandma by visiting her apartment in Ozark. She was so excited to show him her lights. It is a big competition between everyone in the assisted living apartments to see who has the best Christmas decorations. Grandma definitely won. She even had a twig in the front with ornaments hanging from it. I LOVE these pictures. They show just how happy Grandma was to see Owen.

We celebrated Christmas the Sunday that we left to head back home. Here are some sweet pictures from the celebration. :)

This is how Owen spent the entire ride home from Enterprise. He was worn out!

We attended Daddy's Christmas party the next week. Owen's favorite part was playing the "yano".

We spent the week of Christmas in Arab. We got to see the beautiful lights in the park. Here are a few pictures from our outing.

We took Owen to see Santa in the Huntsville Mall. I could not believe he wasn't scared! He shook Santa's hand, asked where his reindeer were, and even said Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas! Owen, Mommy is so sorry that I made you wear these jeans that are too short! I didn't realize it until it was too late!

Owen helped make the Rolo Turtles. He put a Rolo on every single pretzel....all by himself!

Owen also got to "lick the spoon" for the very first time...

Owen enjoyed making cookies for Santa. He is quite the cook. ;)

Owen was VERY excited that Santa came. I think his favorite toy was his truck! Here are some pictures from Christmas Day.

These are his toys just from Santa! Owen must've been a VERY good boy!

We hope you had a very MERRY Christmas!
