What have we been up to lately?

It has been a while since I have updated. I have been trying to stay "unplugged" unless Owen is sleeping. He is growing up too fast, and I don't want to miss a thing! Speaking of growing up....can you believe my sweet little angel turned 18 months on the first?? I will post an 18 month update this week. :)

We have had some beautiful fall days. We love taking advantage of the pretty weather by taking Owen "side". (outside)

We've  had a few cold days, and Owen got to wear his first sweater.

I started a preschool program with Owen and Anna Scott. It is basically learning through play. I tested it out this month, and they absolutely love it. They are both so smart.

Here's a picture of Owen lining his shoes up in pairs....

We did some art projects/sensory play. Their looks of concentration are so precious!

Leaf collage....

Painting fall trees with Q-tips....

Fall painting with apples, leaves, and acorns....

Practicing gluing skills...

Owen was very proud of his turkey!

Owen's beautiful Thanksgiving artwork decorated our door.

Fall painting...

Mommy's favorite...

We also read books, learn nursery rhymes, play with puppets, and sing songs.

Here is a sweet video of Owen and Anna Scott reciting their Bible Verse....

Owen and I visited the Clifford exhibit at the McWane Center a couple of weeks ago. He loved pretending to be a mailman.

Owen recently celebrated his second Thanksgiving.

We went to Arab the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Here's Owen gnawing on a rib bone at Grammy and Papaw's.

We got to spend an entire week in Enterprise to celebrate Thanksgiving. Here are a couple of pictures from Thanksgiving Day.

Owen played T-ball for the first time this past weekend. I am very impressed with his ability to swing and hit the ball.

Stay tuned for our 18 month blog!

....and Roll Tide!
